Who is Værsågod?
And what does it mean?
Værsågod is a small digital agency specialising in development of modern websites. Værsågod was established in 2012, and consists of four senior developers with many years experience in Norwegian and international advertising and design agencies.
We believe that websites can be visually engaging and interesting, while still being accessible and performant. We think a lot about design and technology – not so much about process. We believe that small teams with good people give the best results.
"Værsågod" is Norwegian, and loosely translates to "You're welcome".
What do we know? What do we offer?
We develop websites. It's that simple.
Front-end, back-end and everything in between. Additionally, we provide support and advice during the initial stages of a project. Once a website is launched, we offer ongoing service and support.
Meet the team
André is a real, North-Norwegian potato. That might not tell you much if you're not Norwegian, but it basically means that he's tough and versatile. André has over fifteen years experience working in Norwegian .com, advertising, design, and web agencies, where he has built award-winning websites for companies of all sizes. He'll take care of your design like it's a newborn puppy: gently and with lots of love.
With more than ten years of experience with some of Norway's best and most award-winning agencies, Alex is an endless fountain of knowledge. He focuses on universal accessibility, semantics and quality. With design education from England as a cornerstone, Alexander delivers a 100 % happiness guarantee to designers.
Mats has played with computers all his life and made his first, humble websites well before Y2K. As a developer, he's experienced and versatile, and enjoys front-end as much as back-end. Over the last 10 years, Mats has delivered projects for some of Norway's leading ad and digital agencies, and with a burning heart for design and user experience he attacks every challenge with death-defying enthusiasm.
Isaac is our resident Canadian lumberjack. He started to code in the late 90s but focused mainly on design. After several years working as a designer for agencies in Canada he rediscovered his coding roots. For the past five years he has been developing clean, responsive and user-friendly websites for companies big and small.
